Insurance for the small business owner

Do you own a small business? If you start one? What type of insurance you have? Honestly, you should consider (and preferably), three types of insurance products for your business and its assets.

Liability insurance. Absolutely essential ... because if you have a small business, especially one that provides services of any nature, which inevitably will continue daily, or at least threatened with prosecution. Liability insurance to help you if your products or services to harm someone or their property. In such cases, liability insurance pays for part or all of the damages, plus attorney fees and court costs. Doctors and lawyers do not dream of practicing without coverage, which is called errors and omissions insurance (E & O) in the medical and legal.

Workers comp insurance. Assuming you have employees, you'll need it. In fact, the state where your business is located requires. If you have an employee who falls ill or suffers an injury that is work-related, workers comp coverage to cover their medical expenses and all or part of the wages lost by being away from work. In various states, workers comp insurance offers different coverage levels, and it is not always the coverage of independent contractors, and the number of workers sure many will vary.
